America is in the middle of a credit crisis, and one needs experts to provide insight and offer solutions. My name is Douglas Muir and I am the CEO and founder of Credit Justice Services (CJS). I have started this blog to inform the public of their rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), the Fair Credit Billing Act (FCBA), and the Fair Debts Collection Practice Act (FDCPA). I founded CJS to help consumers fight the overwhelming number of errors found on almost 80 percent of credit reports. I feel this blog will be an excellent source for you to utilize.
Since its 2004 inception, CJS has helped thousands of consumers clean up their credit and return to credit worthiness. I’ve developed interactive software that helps remove negative credit from consumers’ credit reports and makes disputing negative claims simple and effective. On average, CJS clients see their credit scores increase 50 to 100 points. The part of the company that is most dear to me is our education of the consumer. It is my personal joy to see consumers fight for their rights and win.
My experience on both the collection and repair sides of the credit industry makes me a unique source to help you receive the credit scores you deserve under the law. During the years I worked on the collection side, I realized the numerous mistakes regularly made by all three credit bureaus. My observations were confirmed when The Massachusetts Public Interest Research Group (MASSPIRG) did a study in 2004 of the three major bureaus and found that 79 percent of American credit reports contained incorrect information. The same study reported that one in four people’s credit reports was so inaccurate that he or she was actually turned down for financing.
I speak nationally to mortgage, real estate and finance professionals about how to increase their clients’ credit scores and how to educate consumers of their credit rights. The impressive response I’ve received has propelled CJS into almost every US state, as well as Puerto Rico, St. Croix and St. Thomas.
Recently, I met with Sen. Carl Levin’s staff to offer insight into the credit industry. Levin is actively looking for additional information about unfair credit practices during an ongoing series of US Senate Subcommittee meetings. Please help us lead the charge against the three credit bureaus and the unfair practices of the credit card companies.
I have been published in the prestigious mortgage magazine The Scotsman Guide and it is my hope that my article offers readers insight about how credit truly affects their lives.
With your assistance we can change the way business is done in the United States by the three major credit bureaus.
I look forward to our commitment to each other!

Douglas Muir, CEO
